Let Me Build You a Beautiful Home for Your Creative Work

I'm giving away a small number of professionally built websites to independent artists, musicians, bands, and authors. Not templates. Not DIY. A real site, built with care, and supported by me.

This is a collaborative project. I want to work with creators who care about their online presence but don't have the time, skills, or budget to make it happen on their own. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Get

A custom designed website that reflects your work and your voice

Hosting included, so your site is always up and running

Access to my CMS so you can update your site without wrestling with tech

A collaborative build process where your input actually matters

I'll also ask for permission to share the process and the final site as part of my portfolio and on social media. I want to tell real creator stories, not just show screenshots.

Who This Is For

You're an artist, author, musician, or part of a band

You care about how your work is presented online

You want a site that feels personal, not cookie-cutter

You're open to collaboration and feedback

You're okay being featured as part of the project

You don't need a huge following. You don't need to be established. You just need to be making something you care about.

Why I'm Doing This

Hi. My name's Phil.

I've spent the last 10 plus years building websites and apps for large companies, learning how to create things at scale and help people find what they're looking for online. But before any of that, I had a different dream. I wanted to be a performer.

I wrote music. I played open mic nights. I spent weekends playing whatever underground venue, dive bar, or basement I could find. I learned how to put myself out there, how to connect with a room, and how much work it takes to turn something personal into something shareable.

I started The Digital Fair because I keep meeting incredibly talented creators. Writers, artists, musicians. And almost all of them are struggling with the same thing: they have meaningful work to share, but getting it online feels like another full time job. Sometimes a third or fourth one, on top of everything else.

Many turn to DIY website builders that promise something fast and affordable. What they often end up with is a site that doesn't really feel like them. One that's frustrating to maintain and costs more than expected once all the add ons pile up.

What I believe, strongly, is that independent creators deserve a digital space that reflects the care and creativity they put into their work. And they should be able to have that without learning to code or breaking the bank.

The Digital Fair is a studio of one. Just me. I design, build, and support every site myself, with some help from my wife on the messaging and marketing side of things. I don't want to control your work. I want to partner with you and help your work find the audience it deserves.

If you've ever wanted a place on the internet that actually feels like yours, I'd love to help you build it. Something that represents your work honestly, supports where you are today, and can grow alongside you as your creative journey evolves.
